Who should attend?
Anyone and everyone in a working role who wants to learn the basics of safety and health.
Duration and Attendance
The IOSH Working Safely is a one day course.
Delegates are required to have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
It is a requirement of the awarding body IOSH that delegates must bring some form of photographic ID along on the day of the course. Where identification is not provided, attendance will be refused.
Aims and Objectives
This course covers the responsibilities when handling resources, risk in the workplace, and how safety can be improved.
This IOSH qualification will cover the following topics:
- Introducing working safely
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
- Protecting our environment
Assessment
Multiple choice questionnaire and hazard spotting exercise.
Certification
Successful candidates receive an IOSH accredited certificate 2-3 weeks after course completion.
