Bio:

I first joined the company in 2014 as a Training Coordinator, a role I held for almost four years before stepping away to explore a new direction. Fast forward to 2024 and I’m back! Coming back after some time away was a bit of an adjustment, but it's been great to get to know the team again and see how much the company has evolved in that time.

It's exciting to be part of a team that’s continually growing and building on past successes - I'm looking forward to seeing where we go next.

Bio:

I started with Tala Training in May 2019 originally as a training coordinator with a particular focus on our SVQ Modern Apprenticeship programme and its delivery. I am delighted to have now been here for 6 wonderful years and in April I progressed into a new role as Lead Training Coordinator. In this role, I work very closely with our Management team providing information and/or assistance when required. I also support our business development, assessing team and the wider administration team in all aspects of our SVQ Modern Apprenticeship delivery. We truly have an amazing team here and it’s so refreshing to work in a busy office environment for a company with continued growth, consistent quality and delivering on exceptional standards at its core.

Bio:

I started with Tala Training straight out of school in 2017 as an office junior completing a Business and Administration Apprenticeship. Over the past eight years, I’ve grown with the company and have now progressed to Accounts & Operations Coordinator. My role offers a great variety, allowing me to manage the company’s accounts while also supporting our candidates on our open courses and with their qualifications through our Modern Apprenticeship contract. I enjoy every minute of working alongside our amazing team day in and day out within our busy office environment.

Bio:

I have been working at Tala since May 2022, and over the past three years, my knowledge and experience within the construction industry have developed significantly. My job is made easier and more enjoyable thanks to working with such a great team! My role is diverse and rewarding, supporting candidates through their modern apprenticeships to help them achieve their SVQ qualifications and on our open courses. Additionally, I am one of the main points of contact for our clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring their needs are met. This variety allows me to continuously grow my skills while building strong, lasting relationships across the industry.

I am half Spanish but can’t speak the language.

Bio:

My career with Tala Training began in March 2019 when I accepted a Business and Administration Apprenticeship. I have since celebrated 6 years with the company and enjoyed every moment working along side our fantastic team. In my role as a Training Coordinator, my responsibilities often range from face-to-face interactions with delegates on our open courses, to working intricately with all aspects of our Modern Apprenticeship contract. The office remains fast paced, and it’s exciting to be part of a company that continues to grow and evolve.

Fun fact about me is:

I listen to my favourite song on repeat for weeks until a new song replaces it

Bio:

I have been a member of the Tala Team since October 2020 and over the last 5 years, I have completed an SVQ 3 in Business and Administration and have learned so much about the construction health & safety industry. From social media/marketing to client relationships, every day is different in the Tala office!

Fun fact about me is:

I played bass in a band with my (now) fiancé!

Bio:

I started my journey as a Training Coordinator in June 2024, and after a brief break for university, I returned in June 2025 to continue growing in this role. I’ve really enjoyed working alongside the amazing team in the office who continue to help and teach me the different skills and strategies required to effectively manage training courses, communicate between candidates, and implement best practices across our training initiatives. I love learning more about the construction industry and the diverse training schemes we offer. My role is incredibly varied, which keeps me engaged and excited to take on new challenges.

I have been a competitive Irish Dancer since the age of 4!

Bio:

My journey in construction began as a carpenter and joiner, working for a regional builder on new housing developments. Shortly after the millennium, I transitioned into site management, leading projects across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, and transport infrastructure.

It was during this time that I was offered the opportunity to move into Health & Safety—an area where I could support operational teams across multiple regions. This role allowed me to combine my practical experience with a growing passion for training and mentoring.

I’ve always believed in the power of education to make a real difference. There's nothing more rewarding than knowing the knowledge you share might help someone stay safe and get home at the end of the day.

I’m currently based at our office in Swadlincote. Though it’s relatively new, it’s set in the heart of the National Forest—an inspiring location. Like the forest’s mighty oaks, we aim to grow strong, grounded, and ever-reaching.

Fun fact about me is:

I once tried stand up comedy and got heckled by a man in a bright yellow suit with yellow hair, he was funnier.
