Course Outline

IOSH Working Safely is an entry level health and safety course that is ideal for anyone, in any sector, that needs an awareness of health and safety issues. This can mean workers, team leaders and senior leadership.

The course provides the knowledge and skills that anyone worldwide can use to remain safe while working in their occupation.

The course is split into 4 parts:

  • Part 1 – Introducing Working Safely
  • Part 2 – Defining hazard and risk
  • Part 3 – Identifying common hazards
  • Part 4 – Improving safety performance

Our online course includes a variety of exercises, case studies and important information to help you to complete the course and understand what you need to do in order to work safely.

Assessment

The course is assessed in two parts (30 minutes). It has an exam style multiple-choice assessment and a virtual hazard spotting exercise.

You will receive your results after the assessment, and if you have successfully passed both parts of the you will receive a certificate from IOSH in 6-8 weeks.
