Construction Site Supervision: Residential Development

Introduction

This qualification is a nationally recognised Construction Site Supervision qualification, which is intended for Assistant Site Managers working in house building construction.

Why should I complete a Site Supervisory qualification?

By taking this qualification, you are demonstrating a commitment to your own professional development. On successful completion of your Construction Site Supervisor S/NVQ you will be able to apply for your CSCS Gold card and access professional recognition, from bodies such as CIOB.

The qualification is also proof of your competence at Site Supervisory level, increasing your career prospects both in the UK and abroad.

How is the qualification delivered?

You will be allocated your own dedicated Assessor. They will explain how you will build a portfolio of evidence, whilst carrying out your day to day work activities. This evidence will be matched against occupational standards and will form the basis of achieving your qualification.

How we assist you throughout the delivery of your qualification?

Our Assessors are our biggest asset, when it comes to ensuring we support the candidate, throughout the qualification. They will assist you at every stage of your qualification, via site visits, emails, phone calls and platforms such as zoom.

How long does the qualification take to achieve?

The achievement of the qualification is very much dependant on the commitment and motivation of the candidate. It is possible to achieve the qualification in as little as 3 months, although we will offer support for 12 months. With S/NVQ’s they can be progressed at a pace that suits you, working around other commitments you have.

What is the cost for this qualification?

The cost of this qualification is £1500 + vat. We can offer a payment plan of three payments, over the duration of the qualification.

Is there funding available to cover some or all of the costs?

Funding available in Scotland:

We can offer funding for this qualification through our partnership with Skills Development Scotland.

To meet the funding criteria; candidates must be working in fulltime employment with a Limited Company based in Scotland.

England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland:

There is grant funding available for Companies throughout the UK, who are registered with CITB.

CITB offer a range of funding for vocational qualifications, including S/NVQ achievement grants and the CITB Skills and Training fund.
