INTRODUCTION
This is a nationally recognised Construction Site Management qualification which is intended for Site Managers working in house building construction.
A candidate should be employed in a role involving house building construction tasks with access to real work activities, tools, and equipment related to house building construction. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate competence on-site through practical performance and knowledge evidence.
To enrol, candidates must have at least six months of on-site experience involving managing construction house building.
Upon successful completion of the SCQF Level 10 Construction Site Management: Residential Development, candidates are eligible to apply for the CSCS Black Management card, provided they also hold a valid (in-date) CITB Health, Safety and Environment (CSCS touchscreen) test.
This qualification supports career progression into advanced roles within construction and civil engineering operations and can be a stepping stone towards managerial positions in the construction house building industry.
You will have your own dedicated assessor, who will support and assist you throughout your qualification. Our assessors are fully committed to helping you at every stage of your qualification. Your assessor will give guidance, whilst you build your own portfolio of evidence and knowledge tasks, while carrying out your day-to-day work activities.

With S/NVQ's, they can be completed at a pace that suits you. Completion is dependant on the commitment and motivation of the candidate. You can complete the qualification in as little as 2-3 months, although we will provide you with full support for up to 12 months.

GRANT FUNDING AVAILABLE
CITB AND APPRENTICESHIP FUNDING
A £1500 CITB grant is available for CITB registered companies until December 2025. After January 2026 this will be £600.
Completion of this qualification through the Modern Apprenticeship route in Scotland, will allow companies registered and working in Scotland, to claim grant funding of £3500 per candidate.
