Health and Safety Training
TALA Training are leading providers of current health and safety training courses, delivered at our two Training Centres in Manchester and Glasgow.
Why Choose Health & Safety Training at TALA?
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is the UK governing body which enforces the health and safety legislation for work environments.
The most basic law in place is the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, which outlines that employers are responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of their employees at work.
Another law for workplace health and safety is The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 act which details that employers have a duty to assess and manage the risks their employees and others face arising from work activities and requires them to make arrangements to ensure health and safety in the workplace. These arrangements for emergencies include providing adequate information and appropriate health and safety training for employees where appropriate.
The information and health and safety training are entirely dependent on which work environment employees are working in.
Health and Safety legislation is there to protect people within the workplace and make sure they are as safe as they possibly can be. If legislation is not adhered to, people could be at risk of sustaining minor or major injuries – and sometimes even fatalities at work. That is why it is very important for these Health and Safety laws to be followed carefully.
Any breach of the Health and Safety Regulations is a criminal offence which can potentially result in an individual manager or company being prosecuted by the appropriate Health and Safety Enforcement Authority. If found guilty, individuals can either be fined or imprisoned.
At TALA Training, we understand how important it is to give employers and employees the absolute best Health and Safety training possible. Our company provide certifications from approved and highly regarded Health and Safety organisations, whereas other less well-established training facilities may not.

The trainees are expected to be interactive throughout the teaching process of the course and subsequently assessed by taking part in a 30-minute, 25 question multiple-choice question exam.
