Leading a Team Safely ECITB CCNSG Course
TALA Training provides a range of health and safety training courses at Glasgow and Manchester training facilities.
Why Choose ECITB CCNSG Leading a Team Safely Training at TALA?
With the most work injuries and deaths in any workforce in the UK, the construction industry is a dangerous working environment.
To prevent as many injuries and deaths as possible, there are strict health and safety laws in places, such as the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations legislation 1999.
This particular law means that employers have to assess and manage the potential risks their employees may face during their day-to-day job and the tasks they carry out.
As an extremely dangerous work environment, not following health and safety rules and regulations can have deadly consequences.
That is why it is imperative for individuals within the construction industry to be properly trained, in order to make sure they keep themselves and their colleagues as safe as possible.
At TALA Training, we offer an ECITB CCNSG Leading a Team Safely Training Course.
This course is perfect for supervisors and team leaders in the engineering and construction industry who have responsibility for managing teams.

ECITB CCNSG Leading a Team Safely Training Course
The course aims to extend delegates’ understanding gained by obtaining the CCNSG National Safety Passport for site workers and help supervisory staff and lone workers who have responsibility for teams, to plan, implement and review the way they communicate health and safety information to their staff.
The course covers a number of key topics including:
- How to communicate successfully.
- How to lead a team successfully.
- How to achieve safe outcomes.
- How to work safely with others.
The course is based around the concept of “The Good Job” and structured into four elements:
- The Team
- The Plan
- The Job
- Good Job
On successful completion, candidates are awarded a CCNSG Safety Passport card.
Topics are explored in an interactive way and delegates’ participation throughout the day is a key factor. Candidates will be required to pass an assessment during the one-day course, in the form of multiple-choice question paper.
Delegates must hold a valid CCNSG National Safety Passport. If the delegate does not have a CCNSG National Safety Passport, they will have to attend a CCNSG Safety Passport National course first.
