Who should attend?

Site managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders in the Engineering Construction industry who have responsibility for teams.

Aims and Objectives

The course aims to extend delegates' understanding gained by obtaining the CCNSG National Safety Passport for site working and help supervisory staff and lone workers who have responsibility for teams, to plan, implement and review the way they communicate health and safety information to their staff. 

Course Content

The course covers a number of key topics including:

  • How to communicate successfully
  • How to lead a team successfully
  • How to achieve safe outcomes
  • Self management
  • How to work safely with others

The course is based around the concept of “The Good Job” and structured into four elements:

  • The Team
  • The Plan
  • The Job
  • Good Job

Outcomes

On successful completion candidates are awarded a CCNSG Safety Passport card.

Course Delivery

Topics are explored in an interactive way and delegates’ participation throughout the day is a key factor. Candidates will be required to pass an assessment during the one day course, in the form of a multiple-choice question paper. 

Requirements

Delegates must hold a valid CCNSG Safety Passport National passport. If the delegate does not have a CCNSG National Safety Passport they will have to attend a CCNSG Safety Passport National course first.
